How to Make Your Very Own Pet Rock

1. Find a rock that appeals to you and/or you feel a connection to.
2. Give it a bath if needed.
3. Decorate it! You may want to use acrylic paint, play clay, googly eyes, pom-poms, felt, etc. Be creative and try something new and exciting! Your pet rock will be one of a kind!
4. Let it dry and voila - you've got a new friend!

How to Have Fun with Your Pet Rock

1. Name your pet rock.
2. Make a home for your pet rock (use your imagination and creativity!).
3. Create one or more family members for your pet rock (hint: use other rocks).
4. Take it with you when you go places. You might want to talk to it or play with it.
5. Take it with you on long car trips.
6. Occasionally have a party with your pet rock. You might want to invite other pet rock owners with their pets to join the fun.
7. Attach a magnet to the back and turn it into a fridge magnet.
8. Glue it to a clothes pin and use it for hanging your artwork.
9. Take it along on your trips, take pictures with it and create a story about pet rock’s adventures when you get back.
