Birtch Farms
www.birtchfarms.com
Birtch Farms is a great family destination. From mid September until the end of October we offer many fun fall activities such as wagon rides, scarecrow making, apple and pumpkin picking, corn maze and children's playground.
We host a number of festivals during the fall such as Apple Festival, Pumpkin Festival, and Food and Wine Festival. Our wagon ride called the Apple Tale Trail, takes us around the orchard, with scenes depicting apple, pumpkin and farm stories and legends. Fresh baking such as homemade apple pies, apple fritters, muffins and cookies are a highlight of the fall season. Picking apples and pumpkins with your children is a very rewarding experience and also an opportunity to celebrate local food and how it's grown.

Shantzholm Pumpkins
www.shantzholmpumpkins.ca
Family Farm Fun is what you'll find at Shantzholm Pumpkins. Shantz Family Farm, Est. 1870, is home to Kevin & Angela Shantz and our eight children. Shantzholm Pumpkins was created in 1996 as something to keep our children occupied when they grew older and maybe earn a few dollars at the roadside stand. But it has grown beyond that!
From our roadside stand in August, we offer sweet corn, cucumbers, and squash, as produce becomes available.
We are open mid-September through until November 1st, daily 8-8, Sundays 12-6, a fall destination for hundreds of families in the area. There is no admittance fee to enjoy our facilities. We welcome families to our pick-your-own pumpkin patch, our large corn maze (one-of-a-kind, made by Farmer Kevin personally!), our small straw maze, & other farm activities, including various farm animals to see. We offer school tours at a reasonable rate, and groups are also welcome. For schools & groups, please call or email to book ahead.
