Our Spring Fair is a great opportunity to experience our community in action, take part in creative and fun-filled activities, browse through samples of our children's work, and enjoy some simple refreshments. For the younger children, the Kindergarten Faculty host imaginative puppet plays. Crafts for children range from projects suitable for smaller hands and one or two more challenging ones for children aged 10 to 14. Discovering Chimpanzees: The Remarkable World of Jane Goodall

Discovering Chimpanzees welcomes visitors to the world of the chimpanzee through sound, visual effects and interactive displays. After passing a giant waterfall visitors will enter Gombe National Park and be transported from their urban surroundings to the jungle environment of the chimps. Through customized computers visitors can explore chimpanzee behaviour in addition to learning to walk and communicate like a chimp. Field notes, photographs, video clips and other artifacts are used to make Jane's forrty years of research come alive for visitors. Her Gombe jungle home is authentically re-created and vintage footage will take visitors on a journey through some of her most memorable and remarkable achievements.
