There are also stations where children can compare their “wing span” to that of local birds, or measure nearby trees to find out how many “taps” each could support. At the pioneer camp there is a traditional taffy making demonstration and you can even try tapping a tree the old fashioned way, with a hand drill! Sheltered wagon rides back to the farm run continuously at approximately 20 minute intervals. Be sure to come by our Pancake House and find out what’s new on the menu this year.
