Christmas in the Village
When? Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3, 2009 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
What?
The Waterloo Region Children’s Safety Village will be once again hosting their “Annual Christmas in the Village”. It will be decorated for the festive season and will be open to the public to come view this winter wonderland. Throughout the evening carols will be sung by local children’s choirs. Santa Claus will be there to hear all the children’s wishes, but keep an eye out for the Grinch. Hot refreshments and cookies will be served. There will be lots to see and do at this family friendly event. There will be a silent auction for those who would like to do some early Christmas shopping.
How Much? All are welcome and admission is just $1. Additional donations support the Children’s Safety Village and are always welcome and appreciated.

When Maid Marian and her Nurse Tickle come to town, the villainous titan devises a dastardly plan to marry the beauty ... or eliminate her to gain access to the family fortune. Luckily, Robin Hood and his mischievous band of fellow outlaws are determined to save the day, and perhaps even win Marion's undying affection in the process. Christmas Pageant

What?
Follow the Star to Bethlehem... Beautifully choreographed to music and narration, it's a wonderful experience for the entire family! The Pageant features live animals, a cast of 125 & elaborate costumes. Presented outside in the Church Parking Lot. Parking nearby. Dress accordingly. Bleacher seating. Refreshments to follow.

Paying a Call: Christmas at the Castle
When? Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 6:30 to 9 pm
What?
During the Victorian era, paying a call was a popular custom. Paying a call meant to visit someone in their home. We at invite you to tour the fully decorated Castle, sip on warm apple cider, enjoy live entertainment and bid on wonderful silent auction items.

Christmas Party (Ages 2 - 5)
